Privacy Policy
The short version: the only data we collect is a record of each purchase, through RevenueCat. The record does not identify you. The game has no account, no analytics, no ads and no server of ours. It plays offline.
Who we are
SW Software LLC ("we", "us") makes Muscle Money: Idle Gym Tycoon (the "Game") for iPhone. This policy explains what happens to information when you play the Game and when you visit this website.
Information we collect
Only purchase records. When you buy something in the Game, the Game sends a record of the purchase to RevenueCat, Inc., a service that keeps purchase records for app makers. The record holds the product, the price, the currency, the date, your App Store country, the Game and iOS versions, and a random id that the Game makes. It holds no name, no email address and no payment details. Like any internet request, it also shows your IP address to RevenueCat's servers.
We use these records to see our sales and to find problems with purchases. We do not sell them, we do not use them for advertising and we do not use them to track you. RevenueCat keeps them for us under its own privacy policy.
The Game does not ask for your name, email address, location, contacts, photos or any other personal information. It contains no analytics, advertising, tracking or social software, and it does not send data to any server we run.
On the App Store, the Game's privacy label lists one data type: Purchases, not linked to you and not used for tracking.
Information stored on your device
Your gym (your progress, settings and purchases unlocked) is saved in a file on your device. It stays there until you delete the Game. We cannot see it or reach it.
iCloud
A copy of your save is mirrored to your own iCloud account through Apple's iCloud key-value storage, so you can restore your gym on a new device. Apple holds that copy under your Apple Account and Apple's privacy policy. We cannot see it or reach it. To stop it, turn off iCloud for the Game in iOS Settings.
Purchases
In-app purchases and the VIP Club subscription are processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive no payment details, no name and no email address. The Game reads your purchase status from Apple on your device to unlock what you bought. The Game also sends a record of each purchase to RevenueCat, as the section above says. Apple may send us sales reports that do not identify you.
Notifications
If you allow them, the Game schedules reminders on your device, for example when your offline earnings are full. They are local notifications: nothing is sent to a server. You can turn them off in the Game's Settings or in iOS Settings.
Crash reports and diagnostics
If you choose to share analytics with app developers in iOS Settings, Apple may send us crash reports and usage figures that do not identify you. If you test a beta through TestFlight, Apple sends us the feedback and crash reports you submit, with the details Apple's TestFlight terms describe. We use them only to fix problems.
This website
This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no scripts. Our web host may keep standard server logs, such as IP address and pages requested, for security and to keep the site running. We do not use them to identify you.
Children
The Game is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The only records the Game sends are the purchase records above, and they do not identify the player. Purchases on a child's device go through Apple, and a parent can control them with Ask to Buy and Screen Time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR, the UK GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act give you rights to see, correct or delete your personal data. We hold no name, email address or account for you. Purchase records use a random id, so we cannot find yours from your name. To delete a purchase record, write to us with the date and the product of the purchase, and we will ask RevenueCat to delete it. To remove your gym, delete the Game from your device and remove its iCloud data in iOS Settings, under your name, then iCloud, then Manage Account Storage. You can still write to us with any privacy question.
Security
Your save lives on your device and in your iCloud account, protected by Apple's security. We hold no copy that could be exposed. RevenueCat protects the purchase records with its own security controls.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the Game handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect. A change that starts collecting personal data would also appear in the App Store privacy label and in the Game.
